Taphaus Biergarten is moving along and by the looks of it, may open by the end of the summer. On the ground floor of Crystal Point, 2 2nd St. (on the Hudson River front) the biergarten has been slowly progressing from our peaks through the windows. They have mostly installed iron spiral bar seats and some wooden benches have been delivered to the location. The biergarten looks to have just one large bar with 30 odd taps. By our guess, it looks they may have 3 dart boards as well and the rest we will have to keep an eye on. Whether like the idea of another biergarten in Jersey City or not, this will be much smaller than Zeppelin Hall but have an amazing view of NYC, rather than the Light Rail and wooden fences.…
